Cardetail1 is a registered DBA of Detailing Zone L.L.C.
Policy version: 2026-09-dba-booking-request · Last updated: September 22, 2026
By submitting a booking request you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms, including the booking review process, cancellation/no-show policy, access requirements, pricing, payment, and photo policy.
1. Booking Request & Confirmation
- Request only: Submitting a booking request does not guarantee an appointment. Cardetail1 reviews location, vehicle condition, service type, weather, access, and availability before confirming.
- Confirmation: Your appointment is confirmed only when you receive a separate confirmation from Cardetail1. Until then, your request is under review.
- Time windows: Arrival windows are estimates. Traffic, weather, prior jobs, parking, and access issues may cause delays.
- Right to decline: Cardetail1 reserves the right to decline or reschedule a booking based on location safety, vehicle condition, hazardous materials, or operational limitations.
2. Payment at the Appointment
- No payment at request: No card or payment method is required to submit an initial booking request. Nothing is charged when you book. Pay by card or cash at your appointment. A secure invoice can be sent if needed.
- Online card payment: Online card payment is temporarily unavailable. This website does not ask you to save a card or authorize a charge when you book.
- Earlier card preferences: A card preference recorded on an older appointment stays on that appointment as historical information. It is not charged from this website and is not reclassified as cash.
- Optional saved-card authorization: If a card was saved in an earlier payment flow, that record stays historical. Card information for that earlier flow was handled securely by Stripe and is not stored by Cardetail1. Cardetail1 does not see or store raw card numbers, CVV, or full card data. A previously saved card is not charged from this website.
3. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
- Cancellation window: Customers may cancel or request changes before 24 hours before the confirmed appointment without a cancellation fee.
- Late cancellation: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the confirmed appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee according to the confirmed booking amount and service conditions.
- No-show / denied access: No-show, locked or inaccessible vehicle, denied access, unsafe location, or customer not available at the scheduled time may be subject to a no-show or access fee according to the confirmed booking amount and service conditions.
- Fee range: Where applicable, a cancellation/no-show/access fee may apply, up to 25% of the scheduled service amount or a minimum service/travel fee, depending on the booking.
- Fairness: If weather, emergency, or reasonable schedule conflict occurs, Cardetail1 may offer rescheduling to avoid unfair charges. All fees are reviewed by Cardetail1 staff before being applied.
- No automatic charges: No cancellation, no-show, or access fee is charged automatically. All charges are applied manually by Cardetail1 staff and are subject to review.
4. Payment
- Approved service payment: Pay by card or cash at your appointment. A secure invoice can be sent if needed. Online payment in My Garage is temporarily unavailable.
- On-site payment: Final service payment is collected at the appointment by card or cash after service completion.
- Refunds: Refunds for completed services are not issued except where Cardetail1 is at fault for a material service failure. Contact us within 24 hours of service to report an issue.
5. Weather & Rescheduling
- Conditions requiring reschedule: Severe weather, unsafe working conditions, limited access, freezing conditions, heavy rain, extreme heat, or lack of suitable space may require rescheduling. Cardetail1 will contact you to adjust the appointment.
- No penalty for weather reschedule: When Cardetail1 reschedules due to weather or unsafe conditions, no cancellation fee applies.
6. Pricing & Final Price
- Starting estimates: Prices shown are starting estimates. Final pricing may change based on vehicle size, condition, pet hair, odor, stains, biohazard, excessive soil, oversized vehicles, distance, tolls, and add-ons.
- On-site assessment: The technician may adjust the final price after assessing actual vehicle condition. Customers will be informed before proceeding with any significant price change.
- Out-of-scope conditions: Biohazard, pest contamination, severe mold, sewage, or structurally unsafe vehicles may require a separate estimate or may be declined.
6a. New Customer Welcome Offer (when enabled)
- Offer: When Cardetail1 enables the welcome offer, eligible new customers may receive 10% off the eligible service subtotal, up to a maximum savings of $40 per qualifying booking.
- Eligibility: One redemption per eligible customer or household. Applies to qualifying residential or specialty detailing packages. New customers only — no prior completed qualifying service.
- Exclusions: Maintenance Detail, Fleet/commercial services, custom quotes, travel fees, tolls, congestion charges, taxes where applicable, gift-card purchases, excluded add-ons, and bookings that already include an approved discount.
- Multiple vehicles: When multiple eligible vehicles are booked in one visit, the maximum total welcome savings remains $40 for the booking — not $40 per vehicle.
- How to request: Eligible first-time visitors may request the welcome offer by submitting their email in the on-site first-visit offer. Use the same email when booking. Displayed estimates may update after server review.
- No promo code: The welcome offer is applied automatically when eligible. Customers cannot enter, share, or reuse an internal offer reference.
- Cannot be combined: Unless Cardetail1 explicitly enables stacking in policy, the welcome offer cannot be combined with other promotional offers.
- Server authority: Eligibility, discount amount, and final approved total are calculated by Cardetail1 servers. Displayed estimates may update after review.
- Availability: Cardetail1 may enable or disable this offer at any time. Production availability is subject to Cardetail1 review.
7. Access Requirements
- Customer responsibility: The customer must provide safe, legal access to the vehicle, enough working space around the vehicle, and permission to perform the service at the location.
- Access fee: If the vehicle cannot be accessed at the scheduled time — locked, blocked, moved, or customer unavailable — a no-show/access fee may apply according to the cancellation policy above.
8. Personal Belongings
- Remove personal items: Please remove personal items, valuables, and documents from the vehicle before service. Cardetail1 is not responsible for unsecured personal belongings left inside the vehicle during service.
9. Photos & Documentation
- Service photos: Before/after photos may be taken for service documentation and quality. They are not used in public marketing without the customer's consent.
10. Damage & Pre-Existing Condition
- Pre-existing defects: Pre-existing damage, failing clear coat, loose trim, weak paint, cracked surfaces, previous repairs, and heavily worn materials may limit results. Cardetail1 is not responsible for pre-existing defects.
- Vehicle condition risk: During normal detailing, pre-existing conditions such as brittle clips, aging plastics, failing seals, or worn films may become more apparent. These result from the vehicle's existing condition and are not the responsibility of Cardetail1.
11. Cardetail1 Transactional SMS Program
- Program and operator: Cardetail1 is a registered DBA of Detailing Zone L.L.C. The Cardetail1 transactional SMS program is operated by Detailing Zone L.L.C. Customer-facing texts identify the sender as Cardetail1.
- Optional enrollment: SMS consent is optional, separate from acceptance of these Terms, and is not a condition of booking, purchase, or service. Providing a phone number or submitting a booking does not by itself enroll you.
- Message types: If you expressly opt in, messages may include booking-request receipt, booking review or status updates, appointment confirmations and reminders, technician or service updates, rescheduling or cancellation status, and payment or receipt notifications where applicable. The program does not include promotional or marketing messages.
- Frequency and charges: Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan.
- Opt out: Reply STOP to withdraw consent and opt out of subsequent program messages. You may also contact us at (551) 389-3986.
- Help: Reply HELP for help, or call (551) 389-3986.
- Delivery: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on carrier and network availability.
- Privacy: Our handling of mobile information and SMS consent is described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Customer Consent
- By submitting a booking request, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms, including the booking review process, cancellation/no-show policy, pricing, payment, access requirements, and photo policy. Submitting a booking or accepting these Terms does not enroll you in SMS. SMS consent is optional, collected only through the separate booking checkbox, and is not a condition of booking, purchase, or service.
- Consent is recorded at the time of submission with a timestamp and policy version.
- If you do not agree to these terms, do not submit a booking request.
