Surface preparation in progress

What Happens on Coating Day

1. We look at the paint together

We identify contamination, water spots and anything that may affect the final result.

2. We prepare the surface properly

The vehicle is washed, decontaminated and prepared so the coating can bond correctly.

3. We improve the finish

The included gloss enhancement helps the paint look cleaner and more reflective. Anything beyond the package is discussed first.

4. We apply and protect the coating

The coating is carefully applied and given the conditions it needs during the initial cure.

We Plan Around the Weather

Temperature, wind and moisture affect how a coating is applied and cured. We review the forecast and service location before confirming, so you don’t have to figure that out yourself.

If conditions are not suitable, we’ll discuss a protected location or a better appointment day before the work begins.

Project photos may show vehicles outdoors after the application and initial cure were completed.

Advanced long-term coatings require more controlled application and curing conditions. We confirm those requirements during the consultation.

Honest protection. Clear expectations.

Ceramic coating helps preserve gloss and makes regular care easier. It is not paint protection film and cannot stop rock chips, dents or every scratch. We explain the difference before you choose.

  • Existing paint defects may require correction.
  • Proper washing still matters.
  • Durability depends on use, storage and maintenance.

Keeping It Looking This Good

A coating makes care easier, but good washing habits still matter. We’ll explain what to do after the service.

  • Keep the vehicle dry during the initial cure.
  • Avoid automatic brush washes.
  • Use a proper hand-wash method.
  • Remove bird droppings and contamination promptly.
  • Contact us if something doesn’t look right.

Questions about ceramic coating

Still have questions? That’s completely normal. Ceramic coating is a long-term service, and we want you to understand what you’re choosing.

How long does ceramic coating last?

The packages you can book today last up to 1 year or up to 3 years. Longer options are something we talk through first. How long the finish actually lasts depends on preparation, how you drive, where the car is kept, and how it’s washed.

Can ceramic coating stop scratches?

It helps the paint stay glossy and makes washing easier. It does not stop every scratch, and it does not stop rock chips or dents. It also doesn’t replace paint protection film.

Does my vehicle need paint correction?

We look at the paint before we start. The booked package includes a one-stage gloss-enhancement polish. It doesn’t remove every existing defect. If more correction would help, we quote it separately and wait for your approval.

Can ceramic coating be applied outdoors?

It depends on the day and the space. We check temperature, wind, and moisture before we confirm. If the spot isn’t right, we’ll suggest a protected location or another day. We don’t treat every outdoor space as suitable.

Can you apply it in my garage?

Often, yes, when the garage is clean, dry, and has enough airflow for the vehicle to stay protected while it cures. If it isn’t a good fit, we’ll say so. Longer-term coatings need more controlled conditions, and we’ll explain those before you decide.

When can the vehicle get wet?

Keep it dry for at least 12 hours. Don’t wash it for 7 days. That’s the cure guidance in the current catalog, and we’ll remind you after the visit.

How should I wash a coated vehicle?

Use a proper hand-wash method. Skip automatic brush washes. If bird droppings or other contamination land on the paint, clean them off promptly.

Does ceramic coating prevent rock chips?

No. It doesn’t prevent rock chips or dents. Ceramic coating doesn’t replace paint protection film.

Is interior detailing included?

No. These packages cover the painted exterior. Interior work is optional and can be added when you book.

Are wheels and glass included?

Normal cleaning of wheels, tires, and exterior glass is included. Ceramic on wheels, glass, or trim is included only when you explicitly select that add-on. It isn’t part of these base packages.
